Awesome Use Pantone Colors In Illustrator

Use pantone colors in illustrator. Go to Color Books and select the Pantone color guide you want to use. Pantone Plus includes the PMS colors replacing the earlier Pantone. Adobe Illustrator along with InDesign and Photoshop uses the Pantone Plus Series of color books. The Pantone Color Matching System PMS is a recognized color standard used by many professional designers who work with Illustrator.
You can benefit from using the Pantone Color Manager in Illustrator if your current project relies on this specific framework. Next click the Open Swatch Library option followed by the Color Books selection. From the Swatches Panel Window Swatches open the drop down menu and choose Open Swatch Library Color Books to find and load the Pantone book you need.
Once its converted into grayscale simple choose a Pantone color or Pure Black K 100 and fill the image with the color. Click on the palettes options icon in the top right three horizontal bars with a tiny triangle next to them. Optionally organize them into a Color Group using the folder icon from the bottom right of the Swatches panel.
Pantone Plus modernize the way Adobe applications use spot colors from color book manufacturers. Lets go back to Illustrator. The new Pantone swatchesgenerated from the selected artwork are assigned to the artwork and appear in the Swatches panel.
CAn someone advice me on teh best way to update PMS colors in Indesign and Illustrator- not sure why Adobe does not update these- there are numerous - 11178376. But after sending a file to typography I get my file back with the message that there are no Pantone colors - I used CMYK colors. Now you need to remove unwanted CMYK colors and add the Pantone library.
